ELA (English Language Arts)

F and P assessments continue this week

  • Reading - Pepita Talks Twice

    • Comprehension Skill - Narrative Elements

    • Writing - Journal Entry

  • Spelling - Our test is Friday.

    • There are 3 spelling assignments in Spelling City that students should be working on in class or at home. The 4th assignment will be completed in class. (It is a pretest, but will not be taken for a grade.).

    • There are 2 lists floating around this week. One is filled with our weekly skill, while the other has a blend of our weekly skill AND a list of content words from the week’s lesson. The list with the content words is considered our “Challenge List.”

  • Grammar - Possessive Nouns, Proper Nouns, Types of Sentences (Statements and Questions)

  • Class Read Aloud: Stuart Little

  • **All students should have a book considered “just right” for their reading level at all times.


Math - Mrs. Schafer’s Math Class (If your student is in Ms. Engen’s math class, please visit her EduConnect webpage for specific details about her class.)

Chapter 1: Addition and Subtraction Within 1,000
